This isn't just about me it's about anyone and everyone that wants to participate and join in. When you participate like you have then I try to give a little back and for you, you get a link. The big debate on this is definitely increasing the likely hood of spam. The other consideration although I really don't know how much of a difference it makes, is the fact that having do follow links "leaks your page rank" out to other sites. Of course that is why you will get more traffic generally speaking on a "do follow" blog.
