Billy:

What do you think of the training in the real estate world? The funny thing with the financial world is that the training itself can be one-sided (so to say). What this leads to is a lot of miseducated people who believe what they are trained. Unfortunately, they are trained to sell a product which isn't always the best product. Does this arise with houses?

Experience works sometimes but not always. In the Real Estate field I have seen plenty of newer agents that could run circles around some of the older folks. There is nothing better than a good track record. So many people fail to look at that one aspect that should tell them everything they need to know!

Financial Samurai:
I definitely agree with you. Is a blank slate really possible in this day and age? I just wonder, with so much information and opinions floating around everywhere if it's even possible to have a blank slate anymore. Life insurance might be the best example of this. There's so much information out there regarding life insurance who's to say or even figure out where the misinformation begins?

Uneducated in all ways. B/c you can educate a blank slate. But to RE-educate a miseducated person or self is a two step process and hard to fix.
