Guess what? Apparently I’m human. I made two big mistakes that I want to fix. I’ve been putting off the fix and I know I need to do it so I’m going to stop procrastinating. Before I tell you what they are, isn’t it amazing how easy it is to be responsive and yet people aren’t. These two things I hesitated on doing. Once that happened it was like the got pushed to the back of the list, they lost their priority. I bet you it will take me all of about 15-20 minutes to write this post and put in a few links. If I had done these two things right away it probably would have even taken less time. I digress…here’s your day to do or fix something you have been putting off.
My New Year’s Resolution is prompt responses. Prompt is more important than trying to do or say the perfect thing. Remember the last time you waited for service? Would you rather have good service with prompt response or excellent service that you have to wait for?
Here are my two fixes for the day.
1. Social Branding @ Work with Dan Schawbel
Dan Schawbel puts together great events every so often. I was lucky enough to be part of a panel at one of his events. I have been meaning to put up the youtube video from the event. The first video is Dan speaking and the second video is introduction of the panel featuring Stever Robbins (moderator), Doug Haslam, Sarah Long, David Barrett and myself.

2. Thank you @CathieBrigette
Cathie Brigette made a comment to me over twitter in regards to my blog. I wanted to come up with a great reply so I put it off and then it got pushed down the column in TweetDeck and I forgot about it. So I just wanted to say ‘thank you’ for reading my blog and commenting. I will learn from my mistake of not replying right away.
