About
I’m just a guy trying to make a living. No that’s not true at all. Who wants to just make a living? I’m growing a business. I’m building a practice. I’m going through the trials and tribulations of running your own business but I love it. This is about my thoughts, feelings and experiences in search of being your financial expert. I want to earn the right to help you find, keep and enjoy your money. Or at the very least enjoy my endeavors.

Love your tag-line Chris! Are you a life insurance salesman, or a property & casual insurance sales man?
I’m thinking about whole life as I have extra disposable income, and like the tax free growth component to the returns. But of course, everybody advises against it.
Best,
Sam
Sam:
Thanks for the comments. My name is actually CJ. I sell life and disability. I think whole life insurance works great in the right situation. But I do want to warn you that it is all about how the policy is funded which is were most insurance guys make mistakes. If you want to talk more about specifics feel free to e-mail me cj at cjbowker.com.
I will second Financial Samurai because I laughed at the tag line as well. Just stopping by and keep up the good work!

Thanks for stopping by hopefully you’ve enjoyed some of the content and will come back again soon. Have a great day!
Nice tag line “what it’s like to be hated for your job title” LOL! I wouldn’t say that I would HATE life insurance salesmans per se, I think there are other job titles that rank higher up like:
Parking ticket enforcers (ooh I hate them)
Tow truck drivers (I only like them when they are rescuing my car, but don’t like them when they join forces with the parking ticket enforcers).
@Young and Thrifty
Thanks for your comments. Maybe i should start a list of jobs that rank higher than life insurance sales people. That list might be too long how about jobs that rank lower…that should be a lot shorter.
